My Creative Process
Thumbnail Stage
This is the brainstorming stage where ideas come to life. I create quick, small sketches to explore various concepts and compositions related to your needs. This stage helps me and the client figure out the best idea moving forward, that suits the client's direction.
In this stage, I take the selected concept that the client agree upon and develop it further into a more detailed rough draft. The focus is on defining shapes, proportions, and overall structure, setting the foundation for the final design.
Rough Draft Stage
Cleanup Stage
Here, I refine the rough draft by cleaning up the lines, adding details, and ensuring the design is cohesive. This stage focuses on polishing the artwork, making sure everything is precise and ready for the final touches.
The final stage is where the design comes to life. I add colors, shading, and textures to give the design depth and dimension. This is where the artwork is fully rendered, polished, and finalized, ready for delivery.

Hi, I’m Shane Seivewright, a Canadian digital artist with a lifelong passion for creating characters and telling stories through art. My journey began as a toddler, sketching endlessly while being mesmerized by cartoons. A fascination that still fuels my creativity today.
After completing a concept art program at Vancouver Animation School, I realized that the structured path of a traditional studio career wasn’t for me. I wanted more freedom to explore projects that truly inspire me and align with my creative vision. That’s when I embraced freelancing and started Shaneinvasion Art.
